A note to parents and family members

We are so grateful to be part of your student’s life this year. Watching them grow as musicians has been incredible. There is nothing quite like seeing a student suddenly “get it,” play something they once thought was impossible, or light up when they realize music isn’t just notes… it’s something they can create.

Of course, the road to that moment includes plenty of missed notes, questionable noises, and playing the same song enough times for the family pet to learn it by heart. That’s all part of the process, and you’ve been right there cheering them on, reminding them to practice, and sometimes quietly praying they choose a different song for the next recital.

So thank you for supporting them, encouraging them, staying patient, and showing up today to celebrate their hard work.
